“To put it simply, the market has spoken. Customers want more from their banks.”

We met Michael O’Loughlin and talked about his speech on Open Banking, September 14: “To put it simply, the market has spoken: Customers want more from their banks.  The banks who listen and meet such demands will win. The banks who fail to listen, fail to change and adapt will lose customers and simply evolve into utilities.”
further he argued:
“Open Banking is all about creating a better customer experience.  It’s only natural for banking security teams and customer experience advisors to disagree, not see eye-to-eye.  But the reality is, while these folks argue and fail to find a joint path forward, new players are filling this gap of customer experience and satisfaction.”
Today Michael O’Loughlin is one of the most important thinkers on the future of banking.
